Summer tribal print

Bright Nail polish is a summer
must for me! It naturally
brings out my tan.

Tools:
Black and white nail polish
3 colored polishes (I chose yellow, blue and pink)
a fine paint brush (or toothpick)
dotting tool (or toothpick)

This is a medium-hard design it does take awhile to complete
although the design is simply made you will have to work on a small scale

`Always start by painting your nails white
this will not only create a smooth base
but also makes bright colors pop!

`Once the white dries apply yellow over each entire nail

`After the yellow dries take black nail polish and on your
thumb, middle, and pinky fingers paint the tops.
(You will basically be giving yourself a French manicure)
On your ring and index finger create a bold stripe in the middle of the nail from top to bottom

Next using the FINE paint brush you will add a thin strip of white separating the black polish from the yellow polish. (This white line is where you will place the dots after the paint is dry.)

*Note that on ring and index finger you will have two white lines. One on each side of the black stripe.

For the tribal print inside of the black polish use a fine paint brush. Start by making a zigzag pattern through the entire length of the black polish.

Next draw a circle around a filled in circle inside a V shape that the zigzag pattern has made. Continue doing this on the top or bottom of all zigzag's.
On the other side line with small dots.

This obviously isn't my nail, but I think it's easier for you to see the pattern I used when drawn on paper. Also some of my nails got the circles others got dots on both sides of the zigzag.

BEAUTIFUL!

Tools!

Nail Stamp Kit!    Seriously my favortie tool ever.

I suck at drawing it's a horrible curse for someone whoer loves nails. This is perfect tho. You can use any nail polish you have, so endless colors and it's super simple to use.
My dad got my this at the state fair it came with 3 plates the stamper, scraper and 3 polishes. They suggest using the polish it comes with, but it's thick and i threw it away. I also found the big designs look nicer then the ones that don't cover your whole nail.
If i use a tool in my tutorial it will likely be this one. You can get the kit at k-mart for 9.99 I suggest amazon of ebay that way you can customize you plates. Highly suggest Cheeta and Zebra
Stamp, scrapper, and 30 design plates $12.99

Nail Design Brushes

I use these brushes alot for small detailing. Mine are obviously highly used, if their soaked in nail polish remover they become clean and can be used over and over. I have about 3 different size brushes, they create thicker or thinner lines depending on the brush. Perfect for small touch ups and straight thin lines!
They are a good price and last forever, great thing to have on hand!
Set of 3 $4.95

Dotting Tool                                                                        These are a pack of 5 double headed sticks for a total of 10 different size dots. I got them about a year ago and are a big step up from toothpicks! If you are on a strict budget or lack of time use a tooth pick instead of these, but I do highly suggest them. They clean very easy and are very durable I've had them for a year and although I have lost a few none have broke. I don't use them alot, as I don't have many designs with dots but I have one with all different size and color dots so this is awesome! They are less then $0.20 a piece super cheap and if you  don't loss them will be around forever. Get them!             five for only $2.00

Stripping Tape

To be completely honest I hate this stuff! It's very sticky and needs to be cut with scissors. Being super small I'm always getting it dangled or lose the ends ugh! I try to go without it as much as possible. Tape is a good alternative but lines arn't straight and you have a much bigger piece even when it is cut. Before you start your nails if you cut pieces of the stripping tape about 2in each and stick it to the table that seems to help. Totally optional, many people like it, use our own judgement.
On a postive note it is very cheap so nice to have on hand just in case
10 rolls for $1.64
This is my favorite plate, I use it about every other time I do my nails, which is alot! It makes your nails look great with no effort. Seriouly you could paint your nails 1 color stamp them and they look professionally done. Normally I don't buy nail products in the dollar range, this was my most expensive purchase  *it's actually not that expensive I'm just super cheap* I have gotten my moneys worth over and over again from this, best purchase by far :D
Nail Plate $6.21

* All links I have provided come from amazon products I have bought. I am not the seller of the items nor do I have any association with them. Because of this the links may not always work type the name into amazon and you'll find them. Enjoy

Stripes!

Floating around on pintrest right now is a nail design in peach and gold with stripes and stars and it's so fricken cute I had to do my own version of it! Although I love the peach and gold from some crazy reason out of the 100s of polishs I have, no solid gold. I had to change the colors

Paint thumb and ring finger white.                                       Middle finger and pinky silver, pointer finger blue                  The  Blue is my accent color and silver is my lining color in case your using different colors.

Add caption

On you index finger paint the top you accent color * mine is blue
This will be just like a french manicure
Add a thick strip of blue at the bottom of the nail as well
If the lines arn't perfectly straight don't worry most can be fixed with the lining color, however stripping tape could be used here

Add the last thick line in the middle of the nail.
Repeat these same steps on your pointer finger, since that nail is already painted your accent color use white for the thick stripes. While this is drying I put glitter on my silver nails so they would shine
Useing the nail brush paint a very thin line of silver between you white and accent lines.
My thumb is all blue. Try mixing it up with white and/or silver hearts. Finish with a top coat! Pin it!

Rainbow Cheetah!

Time: 5-10 Minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Needed: White and black nail polish, cheetah stamper, various color polishes, nail brush
This has to be my favorite nail design ever! I get so many compliments, and the number one question, where did you get your nails done? It is actually very simple to do, however it may take a long time depending on how manny different colors you use.

Start with white painted nails make sure their fully dry before moving on

Using the stamper with cheetah print stamp each nail

Fill in each ''circle'' with a colored polish using a nail paint brush. I used sinful colors, it is my favorite nail polish by far. The colors are bright and last a long time, and the polish is only $1.99 per bottle. (I by mine at Target, most Wal-marts also carry them)

I used yellow, green, pink, blue, and a very little bit of orange and purple. After filling the circles in clean the sides of your fingers while the polish dries (I hate this step and generally wait for it to come off in the shower) After it's dry apply top coat, Never Forget a Top Coat!      Pin it!
